enGenius Achieves CMMI Level 2

| enGenius Consulting Group, Inc., a leading provider of Information Technology (IT) solutions and managed services, announced today that its Enterprise Solutions Unit has achieved a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) for Development Maturity Level 2 rating. This rating is a demonstration of the continued focus on software quality and process improvement by enGenius since its first successful assessment of CMMI Maturity Level 2 in 2007. |
| The CMMI for Development is an internationally recognized model for appraising system and software development practices. CMMI involves assessing and comparing key fundamentals of process improvement approaches to enable quality and performance improvements throughout an organization. The defined processes in use within the Enterprise Solutions Unit ensure enGenius teams follow a detailed process definition for project management, requirements management, configuration management, software development, and quality assurance. |
| enGenius was appraised at its Huntsville, AL office during the second week of December 2010. enGenius engaged Cepeda Systems & Software Analysis, Inc. (CSSA), a world-class business organization providing consultation and planning in the field of information technology to conduct the Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI A). The appraisal results were then reviewed and approved by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) on January 7, 2011. |
