Huntsville, AL – July 27, 2011 - enGenius Consulting Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Walton as Project Manager of the Army Facilities Components System (AFCS) in the company’s Huntsville office.  enGenius is a premier IT solutions provider for the defense and government technology services market.  Mr. Walton recently served as IT Service Portfolio Manager for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency where he managed IT projects and Service Management.  He also worked with the United States Army Reserve as the Network Operations Manager where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of the Army Reserve’s Enterprise Network. As Project Manager for AFCS, Mr. Walton will be involved with operation and maintenance of the AFCS systems and infrastructure, CMMI maturity level 3 software engineering and development, world-wide distribution of desktop software, and Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk operations. Mr. Walton holds industry certifications that include: Project Management Professional; Information Technology Infrastructure Library Expert; and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

Patrick Walton joined enGenius as Enterprise Solutions Project Manager.  Mr. Walton has over two decades of diverse experience in IT Programs and Project Management.  Most recently he served as IT Service Portfolio Manager for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency where he managed IT projects and Service Management.  At enGenius Mr. Walton will support operation and maintenance of enterprise systems and infrastructure, CMMI maturity level 3 software engineering and development, world-wide distribution of desktop software, and Tier 2 and 3 Help Desk operations.  Mr. Walton is a certified Project Management Professional; Information Technology Infrastructure Library Expert; and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.
